Rise Above the Pack

Rise Above the Pack is a community safety campaign delivered in the city of Adelaide by YWCA Adelaide through funding from the South Australian Government. Featuring 20 men including the Premier of SA, Leader of the Opposition, Police Commissioner, Lord Mayor, SA Cricket players and many others the campaign features images of the men and notes they have written about respecting women.

The two aims of the campaign are to reframe the conversation from victim blaming to perpetrator responsibility and to encourage positive bystander intervention, with the ultimate goal of creating safer public spaces for women.

You can find out more at the campaign website and you can Get Involved by emailing your own photo and note to info@riseabovethepack.com.au

We are currently conducting a short online survey to seek feedback on the project. If you have a few minutes, we’d love to hear from you.
