Belinda is a social worker with more than 15 years experience in the community sector. She has worked for various women’s organisations in Adelaide and internationally. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Social Work.

Belinda previously worked at YWCA for more than 3 years managing community programs and held responsibility for staff management, program and business development, and funding. She was the Adelaide delegate for YWCA World Council in 2011, and brings a historical knowledge of the organisation to the board as well as a feminist perspective.

Belinda has also worked extensively in the disability sector and currently works as an Advocate/Guardian for the Office of the Public Advocate within the Attorney General’s Department where she is also a workplace sponsor for the Attorney Generals Department’s White Ribbon Accreditation process.
